 GREATER THINGS  

Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. Jn1:50

This morning God says to you, “You will see greater things than these”. Just believe.

1. GREATER GRACE: Ps103:11

For as the heaven is high above the earth, [so] great is his mercy toward them that fear him. Ps103:11

The mercy which is poured out on you is immense. The punishment which we are due for is swallowed up by His death and victory in the cross. He bore our sickness and weakness. It is the mercy which is shown to an unworthy person by God. Those who are in God will testify this: I am not fit for the blessings, which is given to me by God. It is ahead of my studies, qualifications, experience and ability. 

When you can confess this, God will see the contentment of your heart and you will receive loads of blessings.

Prayer: Lord, I know I am undeserving for all the blessings I enjoy but I am made worthy as I have the reputation of calling You, “ Abba Father”.

2. GREATER TERRITORY: IChr4:10

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep [me] from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. IChr4:10

Jabez means son of grief. God changed him to a “son who was heard” by his prayer. The most effective prayer in the Bible is the “Prayer of Jabez” which has an instant result.

A man from Madurai went to Texas in US for ministry as God told him to go there. In faith he went there for a ministry. He got nothing when he went there. As he was ministering an old lady met him. She was a very rich lady and she has no heir to enjoy her property. So she just wrote everything on this man’s name.

It is an unbelievable blessing. We went to his house when we went to US. It was such a long way from the entrance gate to his house. And when we were speaking to him suddenly he took a gun and went to the backyard. When we asked about that, he said an alligator has come into the pond so that all the sheep over there are making sounds. Just think about the blessings of God.

Prayer: Lord, enlarge my territory.

3. GREATER GLORY: Ps21:5

His glory [is] great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him. Ps21:5.

The same glory is going to lead us. A great brightness came upon the face of Moses because he saw the glory of God. The same glory is coming on your house now. You will see His presence.

There are some darkness in our life which we are trying to put off. God is helping you to clear out that darkness as His glory shines upon you all your darkness are cleared out. He has put off your old man and you are a new creation now. God make you brighter and you will shine.

Prayer: Lord, Make our face shine upon me and cleanse me. I believe I am a new creation now.

4. GREATER GOODNESS: Ps31:19

[Oh] how great [is] thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; [which] thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! Ps31:19.

The goodness you receive is going to be mind-boggling. Recently I read in the newspaper a millionaire presented an Audi A6 for his daughter’s birthday. When a worldly man can surprise his daughter this much how much more our God, the King of Kings, the richest of all will surprise His children (you and me). Trust in Him and enjoy the goodness which God has kept in store for us.

Prayer: Lord, You know I fear You. Sometimes I fall because of my weakness but you are always there to lift me up. Help me to stand up strong in You and receive thy goodness.

5. GREATER RIGHTEOUSNESS:Ps71:19

Thy righteousness also, O God, [is] very high, who hast done great things: O God, who [is] like unto thee! Ps71:19

Are you in a situation to say, “Who can help me?” Do not say such words. You are the children of God. Our Father God and our friend Jesus is always there on our side to help us. He will do justice for you and will save you and bless you and that result is going to astonish you.

Be prepared to receive a surprise. You are going to whisper the song, “Who is like the Lord, there is no one?” So stand up and praise Him and give Him the glory, our God is worthy of praise.

Prayer: Lord, Do great things for me. I ask this with boldness because I am made righteous through Your grace.

6. GREATER PEACE:

And all thy children [shall be] taught of the LORD; and great [shall be] the peace of thy children. Isa54:13.

Where there is peace there is joy. The place without peace is like being restless ans agitated all the time. When we are with God we feel relaxed. Some people do not want to go back to their home as they always have a difference of opinion and clash. So they go home late night and leave very early in the morning.

Now, The prince of Peace has come to your house and He wants to dwell in you permanently if you do not grieve Him. He wants you to be in good spirits, smiling and lively.  He wants to take care of your family, leave everything in His hands and you will stand as a testimony before everyone.

Prayer: Lord, me and my household want to worship You alone. I believe You are faithful to do this for us. And when You do this for us, peace will automatically continue in our house.
