GOD SETS YOU HIGH
Then he will elevate you above all the nations He has made and you will receive praise, fame, and honor.Deu26:19

Bring your first of all:

When you enter the land that the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and you occupy it and live in it, you must take the first of all the ground’s produce you harvest from the land the Lord your God is giving you, place it in a basket, and go to the place where He chooses to locate His name. You must go to the priest in office at that time and say to him, “I declare today to the Lord your God that I have come into the land that the Lord promised to our ancestors to give us.” The priest will then take the basket from you and set it before the altar of the Lord your God. Deu26:1-4.

Before Israelites go to Canaan, God advices them to take the first of all the ground's produce to the priest and in turn he will set it before God. Whoever gives the first place for God in everything, He will receive all the promises given in Deu26:19. But above all pursue His kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Mat6:33.

What is our priority? Overtime or God, Special classes or church, marriage function or meetings on Sundays?
I love those who love Me, and those who seek Me find Me. Riches and honor are with Me,long-lasting wealth and righteousness.Pro8:17,18.

Always remember friends, relatives, job everything is next to God. And if you give priority to anyone or anything more than God that is idolatry. If you give the first place to God and come to the church to worship Him with the fellow believers on sundays, He will set you on high. You will be the super stars, the best in the world.

Prayer: Lord, I decide to honor You from the wealth and from the first fruits of all my crops. Pro3:9,10.

Praise God for all the goodness:

Then you must affirm before the Lord your God, “A wandering Aramean was my ancestor, and he went down to Egypt and lived there as a foreigner with a household few in number, but there he became a great, powerful, and numerous people. But the Egyptians mistreated and oppressed us, forcing us to do burdensome labor. So we cried out to the Lord, the God of our ancestors, and he heard us and saw our humiliation, toil, and oppression. Therefore the Lord brought us out of Egypt with tremendous strength and power, as well as with great awe-inspiring signs and wonders. Then He brought us to this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey. Deu26:5-9

Everyday praise Him for His mercy, grace, blessings, health and every goodness He had provided. It is not enough you praise God in public, you should also praise and thank Him in your personal prayer. If we have a thankful heart we will do this automatically.

You godly ones, shout for joy because of the Lord! It is appropriate for the morally upright to offer Him praise. Ps33:1; 40:4; 63:4; 92:1,2; 95:2; 119:71; 147:2.

Prayer: I will praise the Lord at all times; my mouth will continually praise Him. Then I will tell others about your justice,and praise you all day long.

Worship before the Lord your God:

So now, look! I have brought the first of the ground’s produce that You, Lord, have given me.” Then you must set it down before the Lord your God and worship before him. You will celebrate all the good things that the Lord your God has given you and your family, along with the Levites and the resident foreigners among you. Deu26:10,11

God wants you to rejoice in Him. When you come to the church do not come alone. come with your family, bring your friends and bring the strangers, someone who does not know about Christ properly or completely. If you maintain a good fellowship with your neighbours they could never say no when you invite them to the church. Try to bring atleast one person to the church in a week and celebrate the goodness and worship before Him.

Give a calling: Come! Let’s bow down and worship!Let’s kneel before the Lord, our creator!

Give your tithes:

When you finish tithing all your income in the third year (the year of tithing), you must give it to the Levites, the resident foreigners, the orphans, and the widows so that they may eat to their satisfaction in your villages. Deu26:12

The Lord says, “Bring the entire tithe into the storehouse so that there may be food in My temple. Test Me in this matter,” says the Lord who rules over all, “to see if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until there is no room for it all." Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are still spoken, one of the reason is they were perfect in giving in tithes.

Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of everything. Gen14:20; Jacob says, I will surely give You back a tenth of everything You give me.” Gen28:26.

Keep these statutes and ordinances:

Then you shall say before the Lord your God, “I have removed the sacred offering from my house and given it to the Levites, the resident foreigners, the orphans, and the widows just as you have commanded me. I have not violated or forgotten your commandments. I have not eaten anything when I was in mourning, or removed any of it while ceremonially unclean, or offered any of it to the dead; I have obeyed You and have done everything You have commanded me. Look down from Your holy dwelling place in heaven and bless Your people Israel and the land You have given us, just as You promised our ancestors – a land flowing with milk and honey.”

Today the Lord your God is commanding you to keep these statutes and ordinances, something you must do with all your heart and soul. Today you have declared the Lord to be your God, and that you will walk in His ways, keep His statutes, commandments, and ordinances, and obey Him. And today the Lord has declared you to be His special people (as he already promised you) so you may keep all His commandments.Deu26:13-18.

It is the duty of a Pastor to divide the tithes to everyone but not yours. Your duty is to bring one-tenth of everything to God. If you want to give offerings to some other ministry or help the poor people, you can always do it. God loves a cheerful giver. But you cannot give it from the tithe. Can you take some money from your income tax and give it to the poor. Same policy. Jesus Himself said, “Give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” Mark12:17. Now then, my son, do exactly what I tell you! Gen27:8

Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.Eph5:21; Children, obey your parents in the Lord for this is right Eph6:1; Slaves, obey your earthly masters in every respect, Col3:22; Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord; Certainly, obedience is better than sacrifice. ISam15:22.

Prayer: O Lord, as You explicitly commanded us; help us to obey Your voice. We know that if we Live exactly the way You tell us all things will go well with us and You will bless us like Abraham with all the praise, fame and honour. Thank You Lord. Amen.
