 TRANSFORMATION

Then the spirit of the Lord will rush upon you and you will prophesy with them. You will be changed into a different person.ISam10:6.

The image of us can not be changed even after the transformation you will be the way you are seen today though you are in a spirit form. Many do plastic surgery now-a-days and change their  appearance and having changed this many times it becomes vigorous. It is the desire of every man to be different. One wants to be like others and as christians we want to become like Jesus. God is going to change you into a different personality today as he changed Saul.God chanded Saul's personality and preapres the OT Saul into another person. He needed to be changed as God knows that he cannot rule His people with this personality. He appointed Saul to be the first ever king on the earth. Likewise we also need to be changed if we have to inherit the blessings in store for us.

Our fellow believers should say, "Hey I see a good change in you!".There is a program called "The power which changes you" from Nepal where they have a toll-free number, the people who saw their advertisements call them and enquire about this power they preach the gospel. As it seems to be an effective and successful program they brought that program in Chennai, India too. Please do pray for this program to bring many into Christ and this program is very expensive. May God meet their needs and fulfill their desires.

A lady after a sunday service went to the Pastor and said, " Pastor you have tied your tie very long, it needs to be shortened and he replied yes it is from next week I will shorten it. And he said Sister your tongue is so long can we cut a little bit of it? She went away silently. We always want and expect others  to be changed. Ask yourself, why don't I change first? A boy came to a world famous Evangelist and asked with so much of emotion, "Shall I go abroad and say about Jesus and do evangelical ministry?" And the Evangelist drew a circle down on the floor and asked that boy to come and stand in the middle of the circle, and he did. Then he said if revival comes to the person who stands inside the circle revival will come to the whole nation. Self examination is very much important in the spiritual life to be a changed person.

Chennai, India's Jerusalem from there the revival is going to spread all over India as in the days of Pentecost. God has kept a portfolio for us to be done, instead of doing it we do things according to our own motivation. We should be honest in fulfilling God's plan on us. Today we are going to meditate about how God prepared Saul to rule the great kingdom and from that we learn how God will change us to another man.

SUBMISSION:

You will go down to Gilgal before me. I am going to join you there to offer burnt offerings and to make peace offerings. You should wait for seven days, until I arrive and tell you what to do.” ISam10:8.

Though Saul is a king he had to wait for the Priest's arrival. The thing which has to be done by the anointed Priest should be done by him alone and no one else can do his job. You need a submissive spirit. Be subject to every human institution for the Lord’s sake, whether to a king as supreme or to governors as those he commissions to punish wrongdoers and praise those who do good.For God wants you to silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing good.IPet2:15,16 

God do not want you to be in the present state He wants to take you to the next level to fulfill His plans through you, to be a channel of blessing to your family and others. Many should testify about your patience from today onwards.Prayer: Lord, change me more like you. Take control of me and change my nature.

SPUNK:

As Saul turned to leave Samuel, God changed his inmost person. All these signs happened on that very day.ISam10:9.

Spunk means a courage to carry on.God gave a Saul a new heart. On the day we mad a covenant with God by the Baptism we are out of all our generational curse. We are renewed and transformed. Day by Day we become like Him. Stop thinking negative things, it's all because of your unbelief. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose. Rom8:28. God is asking you,"Are you ready to give up all your negative thoughts and unbelief?" And if so God is ready to change your heart.

Man may forgive you but he never forgets but our God alone can forgive and forget our sins. May God give the same kind of heart to us. God is ready to take away all the garbages from your inside if you are ready to give it up and surrender to Him.

Prayer: Change my heart  Lord, Make it ever true. Change my heart O lord, may I be like you. Command in me a new heart to overcome things in my life. Amen.

SPIRIT:

When Saul and his servant arrived at Gibeah, a company of prophets was coming out to meet him. Then the spirit of God rushed upon Saul and he prophesied among them.ISam10:10

God was taking him to a new world, he had never been before. God knows that Saul cannot rule His people without His spirit. So the spirit of the Lord rushed upon him and he prophesied with them. He was changed into a different person. When these signs had taken place, whatever his hand finds to do flourished, for God was with him. A man who was from there replied, “And who is their father?” Therefore this became a proverb: “Is even Saul among the prophets?” ISam10:12. as they did not know God has put His Spirit in Him.Likewise the Lord has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. He has filled him with the Spirit of God – with skill, with understanding, with knowledge, and in all kinds of work, to design artistic designs, to work in gold, in silver, and in bronze, and in cutting stones for their setting, and in cutting wood, to do work in every artistic craft.Exo35:31.

From today you will see new talents, new grace and new gifts going to operate in you. You are a new person now, the grace that lead you today will lead you till the end.

SIMPLICITY:

So they inquired again of the Lord, “Has the man arrived here yet?” The Lord said, “He has hidden himself among the equipment.” ISam10:22

Everyone should testify about your gentle spirit. A person’s pride will bring him low,but one who has a lowly spirit will gain honor.Pro29:23. For this is what the high and exalted one says, the one who rules forever, whose name is holy: “I dwell in an exalted and holy place, but also with the discouraged and humiliated,in order to cheer up the humiliated and to encourage the discouraged. Isam57:15.

As Paul says, "For our reason for confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that with pure motives and sincerity which are from God – not by human wisdom but by the grace of God – we conducted ourselves in the world, and all the more toward you." Are we able to say this?

SOLIDARITY:

Even Saul went to his home in Gibeah. With him went some brave men whose hearts God had touched. ISam10:26.

Here we see the one mindedness. God is going to change the hearts of all those who oppose you or against you and they are going to be your strength and your God changes them that they be on your side as a strong support and there will be full of peace. Saul got this victory through this oneness. And soon you will realize that God has not changed others but you.

Prayer: Lord, Help us to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work. We must not speak evil of no man, but be peaceable, gentle, showing complete courtesy to all people. Amen.

STRENGTH:

But some wicked men said, “How can this man save us?” They despised him and did not even bring him a gift. But Saul said nothing about it.ISam10:27

If you are going to answer for all the gossips, it is not going to work out. Leave it to God, He is the answer for everything. Only if there is a strength in the inner man you can keep quiet when you are falsely blamed and that shows the growth. If you start arguing and prove yourself to be good it has no end. The best example is Jesus. “He was led like a sheep to slaughter, and like a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he did not open his mouth. Acts8:32. He did not answer even one accusation, so that the governor was quite amazed. Pilate's wife sent a message to Pilate: “Have nothing to do with that innocent man; I have suffered greatly as a result of a dream about him today.”

Though He was innocent he did not open His mouth for His only goal was to fulfill His Father's will and He successfully did that. We have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back. God says, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you!  Don’t be frightened, for I am your God! I strengthen you – yes, I help you –  yes, I uphold you with my saving right hand!

Prayer: Lord, we are weak but You are strong. As I hope in You Lord, You will strengthen my heart. I collapse from grief. Sustain me by your word! Help us to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the honor both now and on that eternal day. Amen.
