THINGS TO DO IN THE LAST DAYS

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, His disciples came to Him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Mat24:3.

In this 24th chapter Jesus has told five things to do in the end days. If we take this seriously and do it we will be blessed.Let Him draw us to Him in His coming. Imagine an old father who knows he is in his last days says something. But it is not the last days of the one who says it but the one who listens to it. So He warns us on some areas we need to change. Jesus speaks to us like a father says to a child to get prepared for His coming. For the hidden power of lawlessness is already at work. Let us meditate on the things God wants us to be aware of

1. Spiritual deceits:

Jesus answered them, “Watch out that no one misleads you.Mat24:4

Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived. Devil cannot cheat the believers in everything, he is very tricky in deceiving the believers. He uses the Bible words and pious things. When he tempted them on Godly things believers are not searching out in the Bible whether that is of God and are backslidden. One of the example of Satan deceits: Many keep on reading the Bible as a story book but do not spend time with God in prayer and many keep on praying does not spend time in meditating God's word. Both are a kind of deceit. Satan makes us think we do something for God only but only if prayer and meditation is in a balanced condition you will be spiritually strong. In these last days people are decieved by many attractive doctrines. When some believers listen to this, they tempt to raise a question, "Why don't we agree with the compromising sort of doctrines?" So many forget to think where they are planted and where they are ought to be and left the place. 

Dearly beloved it always seems to be much more green on the other side than in here. God forced me to talk this things  firstly. Many dream dreams and see visions and nowadays believers do not have bad dreams but spiritual dreams. And they say God reveals them this and that. But we do not accept everything, How can we accept somthing which is not at all related to the Bible words. The Holy Spirit will not say something which is inappropriate to the word of God and if you think it says it is not told by the Holy Spirit but the opposite. Do not be decieved and backslide saying some things wrong is God's word. Abide where you are planted and God will make you fruitful and be in good fellowsip with the Pastor, your spiritual father and in the basic doctrines.

How can we know that the basic doctrines what are taught to us are right? If we are following the doctrines which the apostles in the beginning taught as in the Bible we are in the right route. Sometimes people and new believers follow the elders of the church and backslide. But God says, : "Follow Me". Seeing Him alone we should continue. Elders be careful, let not the new believers be deceived by you. You have to give account if somebody left the church where they are planted and are troubled and backslidden by the wrong doctrines in the other church it is you who has to give account to God. 

Prayer: Lord, let me be faithful after the things of God, my church and the doctrines which I was taught. You are the One how could save me from these evil deceits. Preserve me Lord and let me not be decieved. I thank you for the church you have planted me, For what does it benefit a person if he gains the whole world but loses or forfeits himself? Lord, forgive me and preserve me. help us to be careful neither to be decieved nor to decieve.

2. Careful that ye be not troubled:

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. Make sure that you are not alarmed, for this must happen, but the end is still to come. For nation will rise up in arms against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these things are the beginning of birth pains. Mat24:6,7,8

Today the whole world is troubled by the Japan's devastating earthquake and tsunami and a quickly escalating nuclear crisis, all at once. How many of you prayed for Japan? Let us keep on praying for them. People trusts in the government to save them. The Prime minister who had to save people's life who was in the parliament was struggled to save by other people. Japan, with 54 reactors, is world's 3rd largest generator of nuclear power. The country which had never gone through the power failure have no power all over Japan. All power stations are shut down. From this devastation we know nothing can hinder God's plan, if He once decided to do something He will do it. God allows this to make a man realize that nothing is in his hands but everything in God's hands.

Why is this happening? It says in the Bible,"All these things are the beginning of birth pains." so many earthquakes are yet to come. But careful that ye be not troubled as it is only the beginning and not the end. These are not the things which happen against the Bible but according to the Bible. This is a warning for us to be alert. Kingdom against kingdom: In Libya the President who should use the weapons against the enemies use that to kill his own people.These are the last days. God says, "My son, My daughter you are going in your own ways, turn back and come to Me". Utilise this oppurtunity.

3. Church should pray:

Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. For then there will be great suffering unlike anything that has happened from the beginning of the world until now, or ever will happen. And if those days had not been cut short, no one would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. Mat24:20,21,22.

The tribulation period is reduced because of the chosen ones. so in these days we should pray more, tribulations have started. Church, there is nothing to be scared but pray. Believers should come to the church and pray for atleast one hour every day this week. Geologists predicts rightly to what all places Tsunami spreads and it happened accurately as we saw. We should pray that the tribulation period be reduced. Researchers say, "On 19/03/11 there is going to be super moons". It is a process where a sun and moon come very closer. When this happened on 1992, 2005 etc the surroundings met with a big devastation. And Geologists say that this Japan's earthquake is a pre-sign for the coming 19th devastation. It is the duty of the church to pray for these things. Many God's prophets have gone to Israel last week itself to pray for the protecting the world from this devastation. God says,"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away". Mat24:35.

Prayer: God, protect us from all the devastations. We pray for the people who are affected in Japan's earthquake, protect them Lord and console them. We praise You for protecting us to pray for them. Let this devastation be stopped with this. 

4. Stay alert:

Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one left.There will be two women grinding grain with a mill; one will be taken and one left. "Therefore stay alert, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.  Mat24:40-42.

God says, "Things are happening according to My will but you cannot be sluggish any more for these are the days you should be watchful and alert. Many stay alert when they are warned of some thefts, but after days passed by they forget about it and will begin to lead their normal life. It is not like that we should always be watchful and alert for we do not know the day of Lord's coming.

5. Be prepared:

But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night  the thief was coming, he would have been alert and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.Mat24:43,44.

People when they are warned of thiefs, when they sleep they keep some chilli powder, big stick everything to safeguard them. It was a sort of precaution. When we take such precaution for a silly thief how much more we should be prepared for the Lord's coming. Some birthday kids never remove their new dress even while sleeping. This is a sort of warning to me. We should always be prepared. Some say when I hear the thunder I will get ready. Sometimes when it thunders in the night the next day I used to say people " what a heavy thunder noise we heard in the night!" and they will say " Is it so?" They never know, such a good sleep we are sleeping. There won't be anytime for you to get ready, it is only a fraction of a second, it says in the Bible, " in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 1cor15:52. So this is the time for you to be prepared for His coming. This is a warning for the church and the bride. Only the blood of Jesus can wash away your sins. Believe. Repent and be baptized, there is no time to wait. Beware, we are in the end days.

Prayer: God, I need to be prepared still, I am not yet prepared to meet you. I am seeing the troubles the world is going through,make me worthy Lord.
