LOVE OF JESUS

For this is the way God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. Jn3:16.

Jesus first loved us before we love Him not expecting anything in return. Also we cannot swap anything for His love. Jesus says, “Just as the Father has loved me, I have also loved you; remain in My love. Jn15:9.

1. Owned us:

For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. He has chosen you to be His people, prized above all others on the face of the earth. It is not because you  were more numerous than all the other peoples that the Lord favored and chose you – for in fact you were the least numerous of all peoples. Deu7:6,7.

How are we still found in this world today? It is because of His love and grace and He has chosen us to be His own. God is going to lead you in a different  dimension, in a better way to a wonderful state. Prepare yourselves for tomorrow as God wants to take you to the next level. And by doing this in an amazing way.  He is going to demonstrate His love for you. As you belong to Him and He belongs to you, your success is implicit.

2. Blessed us:

He will love and bless you, and make you numerous. He will bless you with many children, with the produce of your soil, your grain, your new wine, your oil, the offspring of your oxen, and the young of your flocks in the land which He promised your ancestors to give you. Deu7:13.

The nations who had a good relationship with Israel are always seemed to be blessed and the nations who have enmity with Israel are always seemed to be facing more destruction. Our chief minister Karunanidhi had a good fellowhsip with Israel to learn agricultural technologies from them. After some years he invited Yasar Arafat to India and then Tamilnadu saw a great destruction. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! May those who love her prosper!Ps122:6. As we love Jerusalem we are going to prosperin what all we do and will be lifted up more than we deserve.

3. Provides us:

Awesome God who is unbiased and takes no bribe, who justly treats the orphan and widow, and who loves resident foreigners, giving them food and clothing. Deu10:17,18.

Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him and He will never put you to shame. Once I was in need of a very large amount and I was praying to God saying, Lord How you are going to meet my need without putting me to shame. Instantly I got an sms in my mobile phone from ICICI, saying My account is credited with the amount more than I needed. If you think it logically it will not work out but if you think by believing you will see wonders. Our God is a giver. Not only your need will be met but also you will take the remaining. And if a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacks daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm and eat well,” but you do not give them what the body needs, what good is it? So also faith, if it does not have works, is dead being by  itself.Jms2:16,17. We should learn to help our fellow believers.

4. Changes curse into blessing:

But the Lord your God refused to listen to Balaam and changed the curse to a blessing, for the Lord your God loves you. Deu23:5.

When the Israelites crossed the Red Sea all their ancestral curses were over as on the day we took baptism. And even when they sinned through Balaam's advice, God changed their curse to a blessing. Some people are there in this world to curse you though you do good to them. Rejoice in that as God turns all curses into blessings. Also God says,"I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curse thee. Gen12:3. Our love should never change like Jesus.

5. Disciplines us:

For the Lord disciplines those He loves, just as a father disciplines the son in whom He delights. Pro3:12.

As Jesus loves us He corrects us to discipline us and says that we must turn from evil. If we obey Him, we live out our days in prosperity and our years in pleasantness. But if we refuse to listen, we expire without knowledge. 

Prayer: Correct me O Lord and teach me your wisdom. Though you discipline me I will still love You. I will not take it slightly. Amen.

6.Endless love:

Having loved His own who were in the world, He now loved them to the very end.Jn13:1.

The worldly people says, "These are the great lines of Kaviyarasu Kannadasan in the movie Ratha Thilakam where he acts in the movie singing these lines.  What a visionary he was"?  He is NIRANDARAMAANAVAN.  But who is actually nirandaramanavar? Only Jesus. But where did he get these visionary lines from? From the Bible. Proof: He wrote "Yesukaviyam". Though he could write poems and books readng the Bible He did not know the answer for "who will be till the end?". Lines from his tamil poem: Veedu varai uravu, veethi varai manavai, kaadu varai pillai, kadaisi varai yaaro? Think he missed out this verse Jn13:1. Jesus Himself says," My love is eternal and endless". I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; no one will snatch them from my hand.

Prayer: Lord, help us to maintain ourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that brings eternal life. Amen.
