ABIMELECH

Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, as well as his wife and female slaves so that they were able to have children. For the Lord had caused infertility to strike every woman in the household of Abimelech because he took Sarah, Abraham’s wife. Gen20:17,18.

"Abimelech" means "the father of the king". As a father of the king he is much honoured. "Abi" a hebrew word means " a headship,a rulership,a leadership". God has chosen you and me as kings and queens. God has given you more royalness as a father of a king.

1. PROTECTION

But God appeared to Abimelech in a dream at night and said to him, “You are as good as dead because of the woman you have taken, for she is someone else’s wife.” Gen20:3.

I am the God who gives each and every individual of my people a special care and protection. This worldly protection may fail many times but I never fail to protect you. For He will order his angels to protect you in all you do. Ps91:11. The Lord will fight for you, and you can be still. Exo14:14. The January 16th incident in Sabhari malai was unforgettable. 106 people died in the stampede of the crowd. Very pitiable for they are yet without a knowledge of the True living God.

Prayer: Lord, please console the families who lost their family members and open their eyes and give them good understanding that they may know, "you are the True living God" and make them happy.

2. PERFECTION

Then in the dream God replied to him, “Yes, I know that you have done this with a clear conscience. Gen20:6.

Make it a habit: "Do everything with a perfect heart", which is God's habit. Many of you think that your perfection is not recognized and appreciated by others. May the Lord reward your efforts! May your acts of kindness be repaid fully by the Lord God of Israel, from whom you have sought protection!” The righteousness of the pefect will make straight their way, but the wicked person will fall by his own wickedness. Pro11:8.

Prayer: Oh Lord. give me a perfect heart and a good conscience that I may walk rightly before You.

3. PRESERVATION

That is why I have kept you from sinning against Me and why I did not allow you to touch her. Gen20:6.

When we are baptized with the Holy Spirit, We are anointed with the Holy Spirit and are strengthened. Because you are strong and the word of God abides in you, you can definitely overcome the wicked one. And God is always there to preserve you from sinning if you walk in a perfect heart. 

Prayer: Lord, preserve me holy. Keep me away from sins. In my heart I store up Your words, so I might not sin against you.

4. PUBLICATION

Early in the morning Abimelech summoned all his servants. When he told them about all these things, they were terrified. Gen20:8.

God has chosen you so that you will proclaim Him. Gather a small group of your friends and invite your pastor to share the good news with them. Many people share all things with their friends except the good news about Jesus. How can they be your true friends if you are least bothered about their destruction because of their ignorance. Pray for them and then go and talk to them. God will be on your side to help you to save your friend for Him.

5. PRESENTATION

So Abimelech gave sheep, cattle, and male and female servants to Abraham. He also gave his wife Sarah back to him. Gen20:14.

God says, "I will give a great reward". That reward is your long time desire and also I will give the best to my child. Remember the promise of this year: " You will be blessed beyond all the peoples". Deu7:14. Always go for a brand new car and the best bungalows, we are the heirs of God and we deserve the best in this world. Claim it and inherit it. God is going to give your heart's desire as a gift which is specially made for you.

Prayer: God, Thank you so very much for you have granted the desire of the righteous. Pro10:24. And we know we were all made righteous through Your blood.

6.PRAYER

Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, as well as his wife and female slaves so that they were able to have children. Gen20:17.

Here we see God answered the prayer immediately and he healed everyone. Similarly all your prayers are going to be answered and also immediately. Only believe. You might have asked for less but God will give you in abundance.God says, "you will weep no more. He hears your cry of despair, He will indeed show you mercy; He hears it, He will respond to you."

Prayer: Lord, I believe you will respond to me immediately without delay. And you will give in abundance as I wait on thee, o Lord.
