HAGAR

Early in the morning Abraham took some food and a skin of water and gave Them to Hagar. He put them on her shoulders, gave her the child, and sent her away. So she went wandering aimlessly through the wilderness of BeerSheba.Gen21:14.

CRYING:

Then she went and sat down by herself across from him at quite a distance, about a bowshot away; for she thought, “I refuse to watch the child die.” So she sat across from him and wept uncontrollably. Gen2:16.

When Hagar cried in the wilderness, she found God's grace. You might not be sure of tomorrow''sl iving Today all the hopeless things in your life will be turned into a blessing, for the Lord has heard the sound of your weeping!

CALLING:

But God heard the boy’s voice.The angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and asked her, “What is the matter, Hagar? Don’t be afraid, for God has heard the boy’s voice right where he is  crying.Though she was left alone in the wilderness with her child left without water. Gen21:17

When we feel hopeless and left alone and think nothing good can happen to me and may ask where does my help come from? But God hears you as He heard the cry of the baby in the wilderness which was left without any hope of living. You may think who is mindful of me? The Lord takes notice of us, He will bless.

CARING:

Get up! Help the boy up and hold him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.” Then God enabled Hagar to see a well of water.She went over and filled the skin with water, and then gave the boy a drink. Gen21:18,19

Human response for the needy ones and the poor people is their pity. Not many come forward to help them even if a person has met with an accident. But our God is not like that. When you cry out to Him for help He is always there. But you have to receive His caring response unlike the worldly people.

CONSLOLING:

God was with the boy as he grew. Gen21:20.

God is the only one who knows our true state and He is the one who can truly comfort our hearts.When we are filled with His great comfort we will be exceeding joyful in all our tribulations. Thou shalt increase my greatness,and comfort me on every side. Psa 71:21. He makes the storm of your life a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. God is the only comfort in our affliction.

CHANGING:

He lived in the wilderness and became an archer. Gen21:20.

Here we see God is changing Ishmael's life. He made him strong and a skilful archer. God indeed blessed him, made him fruitful, and gave him a multitude of descendants. He became the father of twelve princes; He made him into a great nation. The promise you received has been decreed by God, and God will make it happen soon.He is faithful towards His promises and true and it must shortly be done.
