Gilead - Heap of testimony

All the way to Gilead there was not a town able to resist us – the Lord our God gave them all to us. Deu2:36.

No one was able to stand against Gilead as God has handed over all to the Israelites and God's hand was with them. If you are obedient to Him all things will be made be favourable to you. If our life is built upon Gilead our life will be blessed. Behind every blessings there is a condition. Gilead is a testimonial life filled with blessings. Do we have a right testimony!

Gilead - Goodness

Be careful that you neither bless nor curse Jacob. Gen31:21,24

Jacob left with all he owned as he wanted to escape from his Father-in-law Laban as he changed Jacob's wages ten times. Laban chased him in Gilead. But God came to Laban in a dream at night and warned him not to curse Jacob. Let us say this, "For me and my family goodness will come". People may come to harm you but will go back without doing any harm to you. God always likes to bless all the country but are you ready to receive it.

Prayer: God, we know you bring blessings to the inhabitations of the Just. And we also ask You to change all the cursings into blessings.

Gilead - Exaltaion

Joseph's brothers sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty pieces of silver. The Ishmaelites then took Joseph to Egypt.Gen37:28

The patriarchs, because they were jealous of Joseph, sold him into Egypt. But God was with him, and rescued him from all his troubles, and granted him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who made him ruler over Egypt and over all his household as Joseph lived a testimonial life. If we too have a testimonial life God will lift us and exalt us and no one can ever stop your growth. God will definitely exalt you.

Prayer: Lord, exalt my horn like that of an Unicorn. I am covered with fresh oil.

Gilead - God's strength

Gideon kept only three hundred men. Now the Midianites were camped down below in the valley. Jud7:8

All three units blew their trumpets and broke their jars and yelled, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!”  The Lord caused the Midianites to attack one another with their swords throughout the camp. They captured the two Midianite generals, Oreb and Zeeb. "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” Exo14:14. This promise is fulfilled here. God can do wonders with your little wisdom, knowledge, money, strength and multiply it.

Prayer: God, my strength is not enough for me to lead my family, do my work and face the battle in this world. You are my source of strength! I will sing praises to you. Strengthen me with your strength.

Gilead - health

There is still medicinal ointment available in Gilead! There is still a physician there! Jer8:22

Go up to Gilead and get medicinal ointment, you dear poor people of Egypt (bondage). But it will prove useless no matter how much medicine you use; there will be no healing for you.This is for the unsaved people. But for the saved ones God Himself calls you to receive the medicine and His desire is you should be healed. Just believe.

Prayer: God You are the divine healer, I believe this is the time for me to be healed and I grab this medicine from you now. Amen.

Gilead - Contentment

They will eat until they are full. Jer50:19

Let God command an eternal satisfaction to you. You need to reveal your satisfaction to others. Now godliness combined with contentment brings great  profit. 1Tim6:6. DO not grudge about your shortages.Always praise Him for what you have and naturally He will bless you more than you need. 

Prayer: God, contentment is one of Your character bless me with that character.

Gilead - Pasture

Allow them to graze in Bashan and Gilead, as they did in the old days. Mic7:14

Jesus says, I am the door. If anyone enters through me, he will be saved, and will come in and go out, and find pasture. Jesus came so that we may have life, and may have it abundantly. Jesus laid down His life for the sheep. You and me are that sheep so we will be blessed with the grazing land (Plenty in all) which is obvious and unquestionable.

Prayer: Lord, we, your people, the sheep of your pasture, will continually thank you. We will tell coming generations of your praiseworthy acts.
