Excellency Of God's Servants

"I make a distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between the one who serves God and the one who does not."  --  Mal3:18

The servants of God are not all endowed with equal gifts and talents.Whatever may be their ability, are bound to employ their talents in promoting his honor, and in a proper improvement of them and strengthen them.The Lord has compassion on his servants."--Ps135:14. But the useless servant, that does his Master no service wil be cast into outer darkness and there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth-Mt 25:30.

God's servants are called by God --Heb5:4

Sanctify means set apart or separated. We are set apart for the gospel of God. The Holy Ghost - Consecrate, or set Barnabas and Saul apart, for the particular work whereunto God has called them.

Prayer: God, I praise and thank You for you have called me and separated me to do Your ministry and remind me always that "woe unto me if I do not preach Your gospel".Amen.

Heritage of the servants of God--Isa54:17

No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper;This is what the Lord will do for His servants – says the Lord. We are the heirs of God's possession(Gal3:29). One of our inheritance is protection without which one cannot enjoy anything and He has promised the same to us.

Prayer:Father, I desire to do Your ministry. Make way for that Lord and help me to possess my inheritance.

Admired by God--Isa52:7

God admires your feet when you bring the good tidings. The good news is that the Lord Jesus reigns and all power is given to Him. He says,"How beautiful it is to see approaching over the mountains the feet of a messenger".

Prayer: Lord, I don't care of this world whether they admire me or not because I am sure "You are always there to admire me". Thank you Lord. Amen.

Belonged to God --Num12:8,9

A servant of God does not belong to himself but to God. When friends, relatives or our religious people speak or do something against us it is painful. They are unaware that they are speaking against God and not against you(1Sam8:7). Avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord.Rom12:19.

Prayer: Father, Take away all the pains in my heart and I say "let it go".  I forgive all those who hurt me, so that I can worship you with freedom. In Jesus name, Amen.

Good health--Ps35:27

The Lord wants his servant to be secure. Pr.Stephen had a severe chest pain and his son sought for a prayer from Bro.Dhinakaran and that prayer encouraged and healed Pr.Stephen.That wonder working prayer was

Prayer: "Lord, If you take us to heaven we will be there praising you and if we are in the world we will be earning souls for You and praising you. Let Your will be done." Amen.

Reveals God's mysteries-- Amos3:7
 
Certainly the sovereign Lord does nothing without first revealing His plan to His servants the prophets.Eg:John-Rev1:1.

Prayer: Father, I thank you for the opportunity given to me to know the secrets of the kingdom of God. Help me to grow in You and bring more souls for You. Amen.

Authoritative--Mar6:11

If a place will not welcome you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.Disciples went out and preached that all should repent. So communicate these things with the sort of exhortation or rebuke that carries full authority.

Prayer: Lord, I thank you for the authority to do all good works and do not let anyone look down on me. Amen.

Honoured by God  --Jn12:26

If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him. He that waiteth on His master shall be honored.Pro27:18. I do not consider my life worth anything to myself, so that I may finish my task and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace.Jesus sent them out two by two. The reward from our God is the richest and glorious honour.

Prayer: God, we humble ourselves and serve You. We are hated by the world but we know in recompence You will exalt us in due time. In Jesus name. Amen.
