God of Jeremiah

"God of Jeremiah"

"I am watching to see that My word is fulfilled."--Jer1:12.

The words "watching to see" are intended to help us focus not only on His word but also on His concern to see if it is fulfilled.Today we see in what all way God lead Jeremiah to accomplish His purpose through him.

God who predestined

“Before I formed you in your mother’s womb I chose you." Jer1:5 

We are a chosen generation of God. He has many plans for us. To make us attain that goal God allows some trials in our lives. And we know that all things work together for good for those who

love God.Rom8:28. Ask God to reveal the plans He has for you.

Prayer:My Father, I surrender myself to you, fulfill Your plans through me. Amen.

God who sanctifies

Before you were born I sanctified (set you apart) you.” Jer1:5.

When the child is born Nurses washed the babies and they give it clean in mother's hands. But before she cleans the baby our God has cleansed the baby if  it is of a holy generation. So God expects our thoughts,speech,walk,sight and everything to be holy. And we know "God sanctifies us and protects us." 1The5:23.

Prayer:O Lord, sanctify me without which I cannot see you. I really, really want to see you Lord. I ask this from deep down my heart.Amen.

God who appoints

"I appointed you to be a prophet to the nations.”Jer1:5

Do you think the only man who got his appointment order before his birth was Jeremiah? No, all our designations are all predestined by God. You can see many people work in a completely different field on which they were not educated. No one can change God's plans for us. Let us prepare ourselves for the purpose of our appointment.

Prayer: "Lord, I praise You for you have already appointed me where and what I should be". Your plans are wonderful. Amen.

God who creates

God formed us for a Divine purpose. Queen Victoria when she was a schooler before even she knew she will become a Queen of England she used to say,"I will dress like a queen, walk like a queen, speak like a queen, and eat like a queen." and it happened. Then after she became a queen, she was asked about the secret of the victory of the Great Britain her reply was "The Bible is the Britain's foundation, so we win."we are the clay, and He is our potter". Isa64:8.

Prayer: Lord, you are my father;Mould me according to Your heart's desire and accomplish Your divine purpose. Amen.

God who is with us

"I will be with you to protect you,” says the Lord.Jer1:8.

He is Emmanuel so God is with us always to protect us from all temptations, sins and from every dangers.

Prayer: God be with me. Do not lead me into temptation but deliver me from evil.

God who transforms

"The Lord reached out His hand and touched my mouth and said to me,“I will most assuredly give you the words you are to speak for me."Jer1:9

God touched Jeremiah's mouth to speak God's words and stopped speaking his own words. First transformation was done to Jeremiah's mouth, as the mouth of the righteous speaks  wisdom.Ps37:30.

Prayer: My Father, transform my mouth also my body, mind and soul. I need to change. From today I have to fulfill Your desire and will. Amen.

God who gives authority

"I hereby give you the authority to announce to nations and kingdoms."Jer1:10

God gives you a royal kingly authority and a great responsibility. The authorities of worldly leaders are limited within their regions but for us God has given authority over everything as we are His Servants. Mar13:34

Prayer: My Lord, Thank you for the authority you have given to your servants. Help us to do our duties perfectly so that when You come we will be taken with You. We do not want to miss You Lord. Amen.
