 MIRACULOUS GOD

Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food,

and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.

-     II Corinthians 9:10

 

There are many blessings the Lord promises in this verse.  Our God is a miracle working God and He leads us in a wonderful way.  Each and everyday the Lord is making miracles in our life.

 

How will the Lord do miracles and in what all way he does it?

 

1. GOD OF SUPPLY

            The Lord provides for our needs at the right time and blesses us.  Every good thing comes from the Lord.

 

a)      GIVE ANSWER FOR SUPPLICATION

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me,

and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it  may not grieve me!

And God granted him that which he requested.

-     I Chronicles 4:10

The Lord will answer our prayers and supplications.  The Lord turned the sadness of Jabez and had compassion on him.  God heard his prayers and answered him.  God provides what we need at the right time.

 

Then answered the Lord unto Job out of the whirlwind…

-     Job 40:6

Job was filled with sorrow as to why there was no answer for his prayers.

But here the Lord answered him out of the whirlwind and gave him double-fold blessings.

b)      GIVES PEACE

…the Lord will bless his people with peace.

-     Psalms 29:11

The Lord will bless his people with peace.  Of all the blessings the Lord gives, the greatest one is the Peace of God - Peace at home, Peace at work and peace everywhere.

Our heart should be filled with his joy and peace. Our home should be like a little heaven.

c)      GIVES GIFT

Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

-   II Corinthians 9:15

The Lord gives unspeakable gift and that in abundance.  Not only worldly gifts but he also gives spiritual gifts.

 

2. GOD OF INCREASE

 

a)      MAKE BLESSINGS TO INCREASE

And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord

appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God;

walk before me, and be thou perfect.

-     Genesis 17:1

Our God increases or multiplies our blessings.  The Lord gave this promise to Abram saying,

And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and

will multiply thee exceedingly.

-     Genesis 17:2

            Even so the Lord will make us to multiply and increase his blessings in our life.

b)      MAKES GRACE TO INCREASE

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

 

Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

-     Ephesians 1:7,8

The Lord makes his grace to abound or increase.  The Lord gives grace to enjoy the worldly blessings.  He has graciously forgiven us our sins and given all other blessings.

My grace is sufficient for thee…

-   II Corinthians 12:9

The Lord gave us his promise and he will provide his grace specially, in times of challenges, troubles and temptations.

c)      MAKE HIS STRENGTH INCREASE

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might

he increaseth strength.

-     Isaiah 40:29

The Lord gives strength to them that are weak.  He will increase his strength in our life, by giving strength upon strength.

 

3. GOD OF ENLARGEMENT

 

a)      ENLARGE OUR GENERATION

The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

-     Psalms 115:14

The blessing of the Lord with children is the excellent blessing of all.

He will increase us more and more with children.
