God's Purpose

Romans 8:28 'And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.'

We the children of God should believe that everythig happens according to the purpose of the Lord. We are neither born nor live aimlessly on this earth, our lives
should fulfill the purpose of the Lord. We should strive to live in this world according to God's purpose. Each and everyone of us has a purpose in this world.
In order to fulfill the purpose of the Lord, the Holy spirit helps us. This wee read in Romans 8:26 'Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know
not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.' We see the Holy Spirit helps us
and intercedes for God's purpose to be fulfilled in our lives. When we have certain infirmities in our lives, we cannot fulfill the purpose of the Lord. The Holy
Spirit will be with us in our weaknesses and will help us to fulfill the plans of the Lord. Many times there may be unexpected turns and unimaginable surprises
may occur in our lives, but we need to believe that is happening according to the purpose of the Lord. We need to know that God's purposes will remain victorious and
it will not fail. Today, let us meditate upon the majesty of the purpose of the Lord.

Chosen

Ephesians 1:11 'In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own
will'

As we read in the above verse, we are predestinated according to the purpose of the Lord. We are chosen because of God's love and his tender mercies. We are chosen
along with Jesus to inherit all the blessings. We the children of the Lord should be forever grateful for being chosen and handpicked by the Lord. In Ephesians 3:6
'That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel' We are chosen to be the partakers of Christ's
promises in our lives. We also read in Colossians 1:12-13 'Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints
in light:Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son'. It is truly a priceless experience to be the
ones that are chosen by the Lord. We read in Ephesians 1:4 'According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and
without blame before him in love.' We the children of the Lord are chosen before the foundation of the world. Whenever we pray, we should confess that we are chosen
ones before the foundations of the earth. The Greek word for 'chosen' is 'proorizo' which means to devide something beforehand. The Lord has decided and purposed
many things in our lives even before our birth.

We read in Romans 8:29 'For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many
brethren.' The Lord did not just choose us to get the blessings in this earth but also to be conformed to the image of his Son. We should pray that we transform
like the Lord with all his divine attributes.

Called

II Timothy 1:9 'Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us
in Christ Jesus before the world began,'

Here we read about the holy calling of the Lord. The Lord has called us to be holy. We the children of the Lord are ones who are chosen and called. The Greek word for
'calling' is kletos which refers to an invitation to someone to accept responsibilities for a particular task or new relationship. The Lord has given us a divine
responsibility of salvation and we should strive to fulfill its purpose. We should evaluate ourselves every single day if we exhibit the qualities of the Lord. We
read in I Thessalonians 4:7 'For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.' We are chosen and called to be holy. We must overcome uncleanness and
lead a sacred life. Initially, the garden of Eden was created in God's holy intention but it was intervened by Satan. We also read in Leviticus 11:45 'ye shall
therefore be holy, for I am holy.' The sole purpose of our calling is to reflect a holy life in this unclean world. May we all realize the importance of our
calling and lead an upright and holy life.

Things work together for Good

Romans 8:28 'And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.'

In the above passage we read that all things work together for good to them who are called according to the purpose of the Lord. Certain things might seem evil but
it will work together for good. Even in our lives, we might go through the path of trials and troubles but things will work together for good. When we face troubles
in our lives, we should remember Romans 8:28. For this verse to be fulfilled, we need to have a great sense of faith. We must confess that God has never done evil
nor will he ever do evil. When we love the Lord God, all things will work together for good. The Lord will continue doing things in our lives.

Grace abounds

Ephesians 3:8,9,11 'Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of
Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by
Jesus Christ: According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord.'

Here in this above passage we read according to the purpose of the Lord, we are given grace. According to his eternal purpose, the grace of the Lord will reveal
hidden mysteries was granted to Paul. Even in our lives, the grace needed to accomplish our work will be given to us. Sometimes we might wonder how we were able
to finish certain things. We cannot say it is because of our skills and strength. It is because of his sheer purpose and his grace. We read in Ephesians 3:10
'To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God' In order to understand
certain things, we need to pray to get the wisdom of th Lord. Our God wil give us the grace to make us aware on the wisdom of God and lead us into deeper
spiritual places to reveal the hidden mysteries of God. Amen.
