MOUNTAINS
1.MOUNT SINAI - MOUNT WHICH LEADS US : EXO 31 : 18
It was in this mountain where our Lord God gave His commandments to Moses. This mount Sinai tells us that He is leading us through His commandments.
2.MOUNT MORIAH - MOUNT OF OBEDIENCE : GEN 22 : 2
It was in this mountain where our Lord God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his son. He obeys His words and brings his son. Thus this mountain tells us that we should obey our God.
3.MOUNT OF TEMPTATION - MOUNT OF VICTORY : MATT 4 : 38
In this mountain Jesus was tempted by Satan and had victory over it through Verses. Similarly, we can also have victory over Satan by Verses. This will exalt us in our lives.
4.MOUNT OF TEACHING - MOUNT OF BLESSING : MATT 5 : 12
In this mountain Jesus preached the multitudes. Only through His teachings we can lead a holy life. So His teachings will change an ordinary man into a blessed man.
5.MOUNT HOREB - MOUNTAIN OF VISION : EXO 3 : 1,2
It was in this mountain here Moses saw the vision of burning bush. Similarly, each and every man born in Christ should get the vision of burning bush _ vision to do His ministeries.
6.MOUNT OF TRANSFIGURATION - MOUNT OF NEW REVELATION : MATT : 17 : 1
This is the glorious mountain where Jesus was transfigured. Similarly, when we spent time with God surely we wil trasfigure.We will also recieve a new revelation from Him as Jesus recieved from Him.
7.MOUNT GOLGOTHA - MOUNT OF DEDICATION : JOHN 19 : 17
It was in this mountain where Jesus was crucified. This shows His dedication. Thus this mountain teaches us the trait of dedication.
8.MOUNT OLIVES - SECOND COMING OF CHRIST : ACTS 1 : 10,11,12
This mountain marks the second coming of Jesus. Similarly our lives should also reveal this fact to gentiles. This mountain also reminds us that He is coming soon.
9.MOUNT NEBO - PROMISE OF OUR LORD : DEU 3 : 27
This mountain tells us that things promised by God will surely come true at any point of our lives as it happened in the life of Moses.
