DUNAMIS VII

INTRODUCTION

“And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for thee for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the Power of Christ may rest upon me”

II Corinthians 12:9

            Today we are going to meditate upon the same topic which we were meditating in the recent past. As we all know the word Dunamis (Strength of God) is phenomenal as it puts a drastic change in our lives. Dunamis gives us an experience of transformation. Therefore, it is high time that we need to be prepared to acquire such fruitful change in our life.

I. DUNAMIS WHICH MAKES US PARTAKERS OF DIVINE NATURE:

“According to His Divine Power hath given to us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust”
 II Peter 1:3, 4

            One important thing that we could notice while we read the above passages is that we are Partakers of Divine Nature. What does it signify? It simply means a good behaviour and good manner of conduct! This attribute is hard to find in a normal worldly person. Here for the children of God, Dunamis gives us the Divine Power to make us partakers of His own nature. This divine nature can be compared with the nature of Jesus Christ himself. Also, it clearly reveals that, unless we receive this Divine Nature we cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.

            So how is our nature towards others? What is our testimony at home? At work spot? At neighbourhood? Do we have the Divine Nature of God? How are people reporting concerning our nature? If we have such a bad nature, it is high time that we need to beseech to acquire the Divine Nature of God. Today, the Dunamis is helping us and will enable us to be partakers of His Divine Nature.

II. DUNAMIS OF PROPHECY:

 Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.” “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the Power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His Majesty” 

II Peter 1:15, 16

            What Dunamis is going to give us in this passage? We see here these passages are closely tied up with the Prophetic Words of God. In our lives, God might have promised some prophetic plans, but there will be always a presence of insane stories that are built up by satan to tumble down His prophetic words. Dearly beloved here at this time of danger, Dunamis gives you the Power of Prophecy.

Many people do not have faith on God’s promises as satan brings in fake stories to puzzle us. We should clearly understand that we are the children of God who were witnessing the Majesty of God for a long time. Therefore we need not be staggered upon all these devised fables. We got to believe that God has kept unique and exclusive plans for us and that those will surely prosper with the help of the Dunamis. Thousands and Thousands of people might despise God’s plans on us but do not get trembled as Dunamis is transferring you the Power of Prophecy. This will make you break all the unnecessary obstacles like devised fables and others norms of satan. God’s plan and purpose will definitely prosper and nothing shall hinder it.

III. DUNAMIS THAT MAKES US STAND FIRM IN HIS LOVE:

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come. ” “Nor by height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the Love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”

Romans 8:38, 39

            These passages emphasize on the connection of God’s Love and mankind. It is clearly understood that Dunamis gives us the Strength to stand firmly on the Love of God no matter how much forces come to separate us from the Love of God.

My beloved in Christ, in our lives God might give us circumstances which are not conducive, but we should not back off from the Love of God. We must have the habit or experience of clinging on to the Love of God no matter how complex the problem we are facing. There may be many satanic traps and evil people who try to separate us from the Love of God. Today, we see Dunamis is giving us the Power to stand firmly in God’s Love and conquering all such traps. Nothing and nobody can stop us from standing firmly in the Love of God. We should ask God to protect us and make us to bind us in his Eternal Love.

  “And have tasted the good Word of God, and the Powers of the world to come, “If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance: seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame ”

 Hebrews 6:5, 6

            We have been tasting the Word of God for a long time since we got saved and cleansed by the Blood of the Lord.  But at times we tend to betray God. Some of our works might be crucifying Jesus again. So let us not betray and forget the Power of God that acted as a root cause for all the blessings that we got in life.

Many people do not have the experience of listening to the good Words of God and that serves as a main reason for backsliding and finally resulting in betraying our Lord God. Today Dunamis promises that it will lead us till the end of life. We have come into the path of salvation as per his resolution.  Therefore God will surely protect us till the end. Our works will not be left half-done, as Dunamis is going to make you receive the Crown of Glory. We have to be highly relied on Dunamis and only then we will be protected and guided till the end. May our Holy God guide us and guard us till the end of our lives. Amen. God Bless You!!!
