INTRODUCTION:

”And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my Strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

II Corinthians 12:9 

Dear beloved, we were meditating this topic for quite a few weeks now by God’s grace. Our Lord God wants us to understand His Power that is kept for us, which leaves a great impact when it is unleashed. I believe we are not alone in this world because DUNAMIS-the Power of God is with us as a big support. Let us discuss the importance of Dunamis as under:

I. POWER LIKE A LIGHT:

“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”

II Corinthians 4:6,7

            From reading these passages we can firmly discern the thing that is God can form anything out of nothing. Genesis 1:3 says “ And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”., This passage reveals how Powerful and how Mighty His words are. God has given the exact brightness to us like unto His face. This is what I would like to emphasize, that God’s power is present in our normal body which transfigures us day by day. Our God says, we should shine by His brightness. People in the world use many cosmetics to make their skin glow, but truly speaking if you spend time in God’s presence, you will surely feel the glorious radiance on your face.

We see here that the glorious light is kept in earthen vessels, why is it so? In order to preserve the light (Power) and also not to let the darkness inside. Same way, the Power of Light is going to protect us and shield us from all sorts of darkness.

Our God’s radiance should be found in our faces. Henceforth, we are going to witness the light of God on our lives. People are going to envy us as the Divine Light rests upon us. Darkness has no longer authority to swallow you up, as God’s power which is in the form of light is vested upon us.

II. POWER WHICH REVEALS GOD’S GREATNESS

“And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His Mighty power.”

Ephesians 1:19

            While we read this passage, we can understand that the power which enabled Christ to resurrect from the dead is the same power that is going to make us understand His greatness by giving us a heart of understanding. This Power enables us to see or foresee all the plans that God has reserved for us. It is not possible to see all this by our naked eyes, for this reason the Power of God enlightens our eyes to witness it. Sometimes we find hard to understand God and we are filled with queries, but the Power of God will give you a Bright and Shining eyes to comprehend the plans of God.

Today, God is going to explain all that he has kept for you. God does not see things as we see.  We have to ask God to give His Grace for us to view things as God does. We should ask God, ‘’Change my eyes, I don’t want a normal eyes, Give me the bright eyes of understanding to see all the blessings and plans you through the power which reveals the greatness and an enlightened eyes.

III. POWER WHICH GIVES GRACE TO DO THE MINISTRY OF GOD

”Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of grace of god given unto me by the effectual working of his power.”

Ephesians 3:7

            The Power of God is inbuilt in each one of our hearts which enables us to shine for Him by carrying out his ministry. There are many people who were Lawyers; Professionals continue to do the Ministry of God alongside. This is possible due to the Mighty Grace of God which injects His effectual power to do his ministry.(Same case applied to Paul)

Our God is going to use you to reveal His Power and not only that, God has chosen you to explode the Power of God that is present in us. We should earnestly ask for God’s Grace to command His power to perform his ministry in our lives. We should thank God, as He strengthened us and made us to lead a normal life.

IV. POWER WHICH FULFILS OUR DESIRES

”Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”

Ephesians 3:20

            Our God is a God who does things for us more than what we desire. This shows the excellency of His power, the power which fulfils our desires and wants. The Power of God that is present inside us is the secret agent which brings us all the things that we desire. A normal person gives us what we ask, but our God is different in such a way that He gives us more than what we ask or think.

Ephesians 3:21 -  ”Unto Him be the Glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” We should only glorify Him for his Mighty works. Do you have any personal desire? Believe that God has done it to you. You should start learning to glorifying him by having an unbreakable faith that He is going to give you more than your expectation. So do not pray for your desires, just Glorify him by having a strong faith.

V. POWER THAT PREPARES FOR RESURRECT

”That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death:”

Philippians 3:10

            When we deeply read this passage, we come to know that the Power of God is going to make us resurrect. Our God has not called us to inherit just the worldly blessings but instead to inherit the Divine blessings. Only if we resurrect or only if we have the appetite to see Him, then we can inherit Heavenly blessings.

We should not get inclined to this world as we belong to Heaven and not to this futile world. We should have the Spiritual mind that we should fly with our Lord God during his second coming. This should be our sole desire and as Christians, let us submit ourselves to the Divine calling of God and let the Power of God enable us to resurrect during his coming. May God bless you!! Amen!!
