POWER OF GOD (DUNAMIS)

Power of God

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2corinthians.12:9

When we talk about weakness it does not signify physical weakness, it can be weakness of spirituality, economy and so on. Therefore, we should have strong hope that God’s power exceeds at times of our weakness. Today we are going to see in what places the word DUNAMIS (strength of God) was found in the scripture and also the circumstances where the power of God gets revealed.

POWER THAT SAVES US FROM TEMPTATION

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Matthew.6:13

I believe God’s power gets immediately activated during the time of our temptations. The reason why Jesus was led to wilderness and tempted by Satan was, God wanted to enable him to overcome the temptation using the power of God.

And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

Luke.4:1

And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

Luke 4:13

When Jesus tackles the situation of temptation, God’s power abounds. We see Satan fleeing away from that place. Even in our lives we are given to trials, so we must put up with the temptations for the power of God exceeds at that time.

If we tolerate the temptations more, God’s power will come into resume. No matter what kind of temptations you are going through, you have to be strong and wait with the hope that Dunamis will come for your help.

The Lord says “The power of god is with you to help you at the time of trials and temptations you don’t have to worry anymore, Dunamis will help you to overcome all your temptations.

POWER THAT GUIDES TO A RIGHT PATH

Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

Matthew.22:29

Here, the people are not in a state to comprehend the scripture of god. They did not have a proper understanding regarding the power of god and the scripture of god. I believe if people are confused and make mistakes, only because they did not understand the word of god. They are misled as a result. Truly, if we make it a point to understand and pay heed to God’s words we’ll never be misguided. Dunamis will show us the right path for us.Today god wants us to the read bible daily and start our day. Dunamis will protect and guide us through the word of god . If people are going astray, it clearly means they do not possess God’s word, therefore we should pay heed to God’s words and that’s the only way where god shows us a right path. May god lead us to the right path with his immense power.

POWER THAT MAKES INTERCESSION

Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Matthew.26:64

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

1john 2:1

Jesus is seated at the right hand of god and he intercedes for everyone of us. There are times where we are so weak that we could not even pray, therefore in that point of time, we have to believe in the power that makes intercession. This power will give us strength to do the impossible. Today, Jesus is interceding for you and me to god. My son and my daughter, if your prayers are not answered or if your blessings are delayed, do not worry because the power of god will come into picture when you are helpless and it will save you from the temptations of Satan. Jesus intercedes for our weakness and disabilities and grants us power from the mighty god. We should be thankful to Jesus as he intercedes for us at times of our weakness.

SUPER POWER OF GOD

And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

Luke 4:36

Here the power of god reveals abundantly to the extent that people are spellbound and amazed. The power of god is supreme and above all powers. Even in your life, you might encounter weakness in any form; all you have to do is, you have to command the weakness to flee, out of our life. God has given us the power, that super power has given us the authority to resist the weakness God’s word is more powerful enough to sweep Satan out of our lives. “Dunamis is with you and you will not be staggered by the Satan”, says the lord. You have to start talking to your problems and that will pave way for your victory. We have to believe that the supreme power of god is with us.

POWER THAT PREPARES US

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Matthew 24:30

This Chapter Matthew 24 shows all the indications of the coming of the Christ. Many points recorded in this chapter were almost fulfilled. In this verse 24:30, we see the son of man comes with power and glory, but I believe the power also comes to prepare us for the Lord’s coming. Here the power of god (Dunamis) prepares us. These are the last days where even the chosen people are enticed. There are humpty number of ways how the Satan is bringing snares to the church of god. God advises you to be very cautioned and allergic to all such fatal nets of Satan. Today the power of god (Dunamis) is highly instructing you and prepares you for all such events. God did not call us to get enticed by Satan; he called us to see the son of man in his coming .Dunamis is with you and helps you to discern the good and bad in the world. Let the power of god (Dunamis) help us with all the demonic toils and dangers in your lives. You are going to come out as a victorious one by overcoming all the troubles. Believe in Dunamis and it will set you Free.
