BUT THE LORD

    Normally we come across many statements in the bible which starts `The lord….` Though those statements has its own speciality,but there is one statement which is more distinctive and more powerful than that, that is "But the lord….."  Jeremiah 20:11 says,  But the Lord is with me as a mighty awesome one, therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper. Their everlasting confusion will never be forgotten. Today God is with you as a mighty terrible God and he is going to take care of your burden. There are many circumstances in the bible, which contains the statement "But the lord"… I notice, whenever this statement arises it leaves a big impact. Today we shall discuss on few situations which consists of the statement "But the Lord"….

1. Genesis 39:21 GOD WHO NEVER FORSAKES
But the lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and he gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.  Joseph was falsely accused of harassing Potiphar's wife. And he was put behind bars. We see he was  truthful to God, as he fled from committing sin. But God was with him and lifted him up from his plight and delivered him. My beloved people, God will surely deliver4 you from all your problems when you are faithful to him.

2. Exodus10:20 GOD OF MIRACLE
But the lord hardened pharaoh's heart and he did not let the children of Israel go. Here we see our God himself hardens pharaoh's heart to prove that how God is mighty enough to deliver his people from him. Even in our life, God does the impossible. He makes way where there is no way. Pharaoh was stubborn initially, but the Lord made him realize the power of God and he released the Israelites.

3. Deuteronomy 2:21&Genesis 36:6, 8 GOD  WHO PREPARES
……But the Lord destroyed them before them….So Esau dwelt in Mount Seri, Esau is Edom…. God gave Land of cannan to Jacob; it took so long time for him to inherit. But for Esau, God prepared a wealthy/prosperous land. Even for you God will give you a prosperous blessing, if you earnestly ask God. Esau, who was hated, was lifted up. He inherited Mount Seri which was Gods prepared place. Even for you God has prepared many things for your life, you will receive it in a right time.

4. Deuteronomy 3:25, 26 GOD WHO FULFILLS DESIRES
……..But the Lord was angry with me on your account, and would not listen to me. So the lord said to me: Enough of that! Speak no more to me of this matter. Here we see God promises to Moses that he will show him the land of cannan. Moses had a great desire that he would see the land. Mathew chapter 17 we see God makes him to see the Land of cannan as he promised. Even in your life God will definitely fulfill your wants and wishes that he has promised.
