GOD'S PURPOSE 30/10/11

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: Eph1:11.

He is the God who works all things according to the counsel of His own will. The worldly people even some so called spiritual people are very careful to do according to the astrology. They see bad times and good times but for the people  of God all the time and days are good and everything happens according to His will. Many times we cannot understand His will. Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself: Eph1:9. Whatever has happened, is happening, will happen in our life is according to His will. It is because we do not understand His will we are worried for many things.But if you ask God He will reveal the mystery concerning our life.

The Robot is programmed in such a manner that it should do according to the program and it cannot do anything on its own. God has not made us like a Robot but has given us a free will to choose. But He knows the things which will happen in our life before itself. We could know this from Esau's life. God will look after everything and He has purposed everything for you. Let us see in what all things God's purpose is seen.

1. God's calling:

Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,IITim1:9.

God has called us with a calling for a purpose.It is like a call letter to join a job. He did not save us because we are righteous or of our works but by His grace with the holy calling. Our life seems to be different from others.You might also have asked God, When everyone lives in this manner, how I live in this way.It is because God has called us with a special calling.The things which are hard for others to do would be simple for you to do. Do not look at others but God,He will make everything uncomplicated.

And the chief captain answered, With a great sum obtained I this freedom. And Paul said, But I was free born. Acts22:28.

You shall be blessed beyond all the other people. Is this promise was given to us because we are holy, patient, skilful or we have any special qualifications? No. There are many worldly people who are more patient and better than us but sees us as a special people because it is our birthright.

Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him and the Philistines envied him. Some people asked us to pray for them saying that the people are jealous of their well being. I say to them do not worry about them. Nothing can harm you, be happy and enjoy the Lord's blessings.

If they ask you to take over a higher position take it confidently, You will be able to do it definitely as God is on your side. Do not go back and say "I can't do it". God will strengthen you to do everything.

Prayer: Lord, Give me grace to be a special person.

2. Goodness:

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.Rom8:28.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Jas1:17. Even before the foundation of the world it is purposed for us but we have not understood it. God says, "My purpose is found in the good things that comes to you and no one can delay it or hold it back".

Are you asking God about the delaying of the promise in your job,children's life and in your life? The Lord says, "According to my resolution and purpose it will happen to you and I will speed up that and it shall come to pass in this week itself. You will see this one by one being fulfilled, step by step the Lord will bless us and it will be a permanent one. Today you will see the goodness and will magnify the Lord.

They have launched a new mobile phone and it answers you like a human. And a man who tested this asked that phone, "Will you marry me?" and it answered "I am not programmed like that". When a machine can brilliantly act this much precisely, programmed by a human how much more brilliant we will be who are programmed by God. God will definitely reveal to you the mysteries of your life, if you ask for it.

Prayer: Lord, many goodness are delayed in my life, speed up Your goodness to me.

3. Love:

(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. Rom9:11-13.

Our God is an impartial God. You need to be attentive to the things which I say you. Why did God love Jacob and hate Esau? Was Jacob a righteous person? From his name itself you can know that he was a cheat, he deceived his own brother Esau. Gen27:18-24. The answer is the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of Him that calleth;  There is a purpose in the love that He loves us.

Have you ever asked God,"Why do you love me and save me God when there are so many holy and righteous people are there in this world? The only answer is,it is a Divine love "Agape". When both are from the same womb, why did God choose one? Even before they were born God says this and He is impartial then why?

God's special love is on you and me. And the Lord loves us to an extent that He hates others. That is a divine love. He is the God who loves us with an eternal love. Why God has lifted me this high, which I do not deserve! We are nothing but God has given us grace to receive the blessings and give away blessings. God made the superior people and high officials to come and receive blessings from us as they know God is with us.

One of the brother in our church came and told me like this. Pastor, I recently got saved. Iam doing business and along with that I am doing God's ministry. The MLA and the counsellors fell at my feet and asked for blessings. I do not know what to do and I don't think I deserve this honour. It is the divine love. In the coming year God is going to bless you abundantly, He has purposed it and He is faithful to fulfill that. If a girl or a boy fell in love with an unattractive or if anyone of them is not good looking the world will call it as a blind love. Like wise we may be hideous, horrible or aggressive but still God loves us. God is able to make you holy and love you. The Lord has called us and chosen us though we are unworthy. So let us be faithful to Him.

Prayer: I love the Lord who loves me with the love He loves me.

4. Territory:

And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; Acts17:26.

Here we see that Paul speaks about the doctrine to the Athens. Though God created everyone in the same manner you will be specially blessed with houses and lands.There is a purpose of God in all our territories (Job,house,land, business etc). Problems arise only in the territories but for us it is a blessing.

You can see a small hindu tempe infront of our church. More than half of the land belongs to us. One sunday when the service was going on leaders from 3 to 4 near by places gathered with so many people to fight with us asking for the land. My father sent me to deal with it and I went and asked what's the problem? They told that they need some land to come around the temple. I said Yes you can take it. They went off quietly shouting at one another. They never came to fight with us afterward for anything. But God gave us grace to buy the whole land just opposite to that.

Jerusalem is the place of blessing. When you come out of it you will loose the blessing and when you are within your territory you will receive the blessing.we see in Jon1:10, God has made an hedge about Job, and about his house, and about all that he had on every side? God does His work in all our territories. May the Lord bless your territories and He is faithful to bless the territory if His children.

When we were in a rental house there was a lemon tree in our neighbour's house. Some branches were in the side of our house and it bloomed with flowers and lemons while the other branches which is on their side did not bring forth any lemon. It is because of us it is fruitful.

Tomorrow when you go to work you will see the difference that God honours you and God's purpose is fulfilled in you.

5. Fellowship:

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: Eph3:9-11.

There is a mystery in verse 11. When I was meditating this verse God gave me an illumination over this. There are principalities and powers in heaven and God is going to reveal His wisdom through the church to them. And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: The mystery is God is going to reveal the world and Satan about the fellowship of God with us through the church.It is the fellowship purposed before the foundation of the world that we are together with the Lord. 

Adam lost his glory and gave that to Satan. And God said to Satan "it shall bruise thy head". he did not know who is that? And he thought it could be Abel and killed him. He was keenly looking for that person. And Mary brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. Lk2:7. Jesus was born and Death is swallowed up in victory and Satan was defeated on the cross of calvary.

Why God has chosen us to have fellowship with Him? God says, "I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy".Exo33:19. May the Lord reveal to the purpose of Him about your calling to you.

Prayer: I believe my God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, and You will reveal the mysteries to me. Thank You Lord. Amen.
